FLORENCE, SC - Alex Casey "Bubba" Williams, 19, of Florence, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012 from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Alex was born in Florence, SC a son of Ronald "Bud" Williams and Debra Hoffmeyer Williams. He was a 2011 graduate of West Florence High School, and was an Auto Tech student at the Florence Career Center and was employed at Starfire Grill.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert E. Williams and Gerlie Gratham Williams.
Surviving are his parents of Florence; sister, Christine Shaw (Max) Rittmeier of Conway; maternal grandmother, Judy Hoffmeyer of Florence; maternal grandfather, Timmons (Marilyn) Hoffmeyer of Florence; many other loving family members and close friends and his faithful canine companion, his dachshund, Daisy.
Alex's best friend, Kim Speare, was with him at the time of the accident and also passed away from injuries that he sustained.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Michael Arant, Officiating.
Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
