Julia "Suki" Baker, 80, of Westwood, died Monday, September 17, 2012, in Baptist Hospital East in Louisville.

She was born October 21, 1931, in Catlettsburg, the daughter of the late Harrison and Mary Blankenship Hoff.

She was a homemaker and member of the Holy Family Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Baker.

Survivors include a daughter, Angie Baker Springate and husband Tony of Louisville, a son, Gilbert Harrison Baker of Ashland, a sister, Cheri Woods and husband Eph of Bellefonte, and four grandchildren, Julia Susan Springate, Anthony Springate, Anna Baker and Aaron Baker.

Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday, September 21, 2012, at Miller Funeral Home in Ashland, by Pastor Jeff Canfield. Burial will follow at Ashland Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
