Funeral services for Patsy Earl Madden, 73, of Quinlan, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012, at the Lake Tawakoni Church of Christ north of Wills Point with Mr. Randy Reagan and Mr. Kerry Cain officiating.

Interment will follow at Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

She passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012, in Greenville.

Patsy was born April 26, 1939, in Splint, Kentucky, the daughter of Earl Jameson and Mellie Hall Jameson.

She was raised in Kentucky and graduated from Loyall High School in Kentucky. On April 11, 1964, she married Captain Donald J Madden, U.S.A.F. in El Paso. Patsy was a teacher for the Boles I.S.D. in Quinlan, retiring after twenty-three years of service. She had lived in Kentucky, New Mexico, El Paso, New York, Germany, Nebraska, Arlington and Michigan. In 1980, she moved to Quinlan. She enjoyed walking, playing tennis, reading, shopping and traveling. Patsy loved her family very much and especially being with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Lake Tawakoni Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Clark Jameson; three sisters, Nancy Elizabeth Mimeau, Hazel Brittain Jameson and Rosemary Miracle; nephew, Michael Clayton Miracle and a granddaughter, Angel Holland.

Patsy is survived by her husband, Major Don Madden, Sr., of Quinlan; son, Don Madden, Jr., of Commerce; two daughters, Sue Hatchel, of Quinlan and Kathy Holland, of Lubbock; brother-in-law, Mervin Johnson, of Meeker, Colorado; sister-in-law, Lynn Jameson, of Sherborn, Massachusetts; five grandchildren, Ben Hatchel & wife, Casey, Rachel Hatchel, Stephen Hatchel, Schuyler Holland and Zachary Madden; five nephews, Jamie Miracle, Jeff Jameson, Kevin Jameson, Scott Johnson and Mervin Carl Johnson, Jr. and four nieces, Pat Mimeau, Donna Mimeau, Nancy Miracle Hirata and Carlina Duggan.
