She married Francis Lindley on 24 June 1655, probably in Connecticut, as cited in Branford, Connecticut Marriages, Book 1, Page 170. Another source, American Marriages Before 1699, cites a date of July 6, 1655. She died between 1691 and 1704 probably in Newark, New Jersey, where the family migrated in 1666.

Daughter, Ruth, was born on February 4, 1658 according to the Connecticut Births and Christenings 1649-1906 found at FamilySearch, which also cites her father as "Franses Linsly". Ruth married first to Mr. Wheeler in about 1678, when Ruth was about 20 years old. Ruth married second to Matthew Williams Jr. in 1685 at about age 27. The confusion about her maiden name comes from this marriage record that correctly lists Ruth as Ruth Wheeler, since she was the widow of Mr. Wheeler. Nathan Wheeler did provide her gravestone and he was probably her son by her first marriage.
