She was born July 7, 1912, in Oakland, the daughter of Silva and Minnie Mullis Hanks. She married James "Jimmy" Greene in 1933; he died in 1976.
Mrs. Greene owned Greene's Super Market. She was a member of Prairie Avenue Christian Church and Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors: daughter, Linda Lou Kreuger-Long (husband, Harry Long) of Springfield; stepdaughter, Betty March of Decatur; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joann Risem of Decatur and Martha Ratliff of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
