Gladys Marie Johnson , 93, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away September 12, 2005 at Shawnee Mission Med. Ctr. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Salvation Army.

Gladys was born July 4, 1912 in Green Ridge, MO to Milo and Ida Mae (Durham) Glassburn. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and was a very active Bingo player, often playing 2-3 times per week. Preceding her in death were her husband Frank, son Donald Lee, and daughter Shirley Konkel. Survivors include daughters, Diana West, Edith Swadley, and Nancy Ferguson; sons, John, Wayne, Frank, Robert and Dennis Johnson ; 29 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; and 3 greatgreat-grandchildren.
