Joseph Taraskavage, 74, of 317 Newcastle St., Minersville, a retired miner, died Thursday, 7 p.m., at Pottsville Hospital. He was admitted as a medical patient April 16.
He was a native of Lithuania and resided in Minersville for 52 years. He was a member of St. Francis Church.
His wife, the former Anna Arminas, died Dec. 16, 1961.
Surviving are two sons, Joseph of Arlington, N. J.; John, at home; two daughters, Catherine, wife of Joseph Hudock and Adele, wife of John Grodis, Minersville; seven grandchildren.
Funeral services Monday morning from Hahn Funeral Home. Mass in St. Francis Church. Interment in the parish cemetery.
