Stanley was a Saguache resident when he passed away at Parkview Hospital in Pueblo at the age of 79.
He was the son of Estaniclado Gonzales and Carlota Avila Gonzales. Stanley married Josephine Martinez July 3, 1959. His wife survived him at his death, as well as three daughters, two sisters and two brothers, ten grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held February 9, 1999 at Saint Agnes Catholic Church in Saguache, followed by interment at Chicago Cemetery.
