Mrs. Jessie (sic Jennie) Barnum, 73, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. A. Thomson. She was the widow of Walter Barnum who settled in Nebraska in 1857. Following a long residence here she had moved to California with her daughter (Ada) Virginia where she lived for five years returning here recently. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. M. A. Thomson and Miss Virginia Barnum both of Omaha; three sons, George of Oakland, Calif., A. D. Barnum of North Platte, Neb., and T. B. Sabine of Lodi, California.
