REVOLUTIONARY WAR Service Record (partial): Ager, Jonathan. Sergeant, Capt. Benjamin Lapham's co., Col. Jonathan Reed's regt. of guards; enlisted April 2, 1778; discharged July 3, 1778; service, 3 mos. 1 day, at Cambridge; enlistment, 3 months.

Spouse: Sarah Ayers or Pratt

Note: If my memory serves me, Sarah Pratt married Jonathan Trufant. I believe Jonathan Ager married Sarah Ayers. I have not researched this thoroughly.

Find A Grave contributor Christie Trapp suggests:
Jonathan Ager married (1) at Weymouth, 9 May 1772, Sarah Ayers, daughter of William and Deborah (Tirrell) Ayers, born at Weymouth, 10 May, 1752 and baptized at the Second Church, 17 May 1752. Her death record has not been preserved. He married (2) at Weymouth, 23 Ot. 1783, Sarah Pratt. She died at Weymouth, 6 Feb. 1821, age 60 or 61 years. She was the administratrix of Jonathan's estate, 14 May, 1816.
