Mifflinburg- Maragret E Haire, 93, of 31 E Chestnut St., entered into rest at 8:35 am Wednesday, Feb 18, 2009, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
She was born on Aug 29, 1915, in Middleburg, a daughter of the late Charles and Sally (Musselman) Hassinger. On Feb 16, 1941 she married Ralph S Haire, who preceded her in death on Oct 23, 1999.
She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mifflinburg.
Margaret was a very loving and caring mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who loved her. She enjoyed attending sales and auctions, watching "Wheel of Fortune," "Price is Right" and Lawrence Welk, as well as doing word search puzzles and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Joanne Botts of Mifflinburg and Sandra Stahl of Lewisburg; one son Wayne Haire of Mifflinburg; three grandchildren and their spouses, Brian and Brandee Krall, Michael and Heather Stahl and Stacy and Larry Miller; eight great grandchildren; and three sisters, Stella Minnier of Chambersburg, Marie Hause of Lewisburg and Faye Bowersox of Middleburg.
Visitors may call from 1 to 2 pm Monday at the Hummel Funeral Hom, 574 Hill St., Middleburg, followed by the funeral at 2 pm with the Rev Dennis E Beaver officiating.
Burial will be in the Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg.
