Maxine Hennen Cikovich, 73, of Fairmont died on W ednesday (April 9, 2008) at her home.
She was born on Aug. 16, 1934, in Marion County, a daughter of the late Albert Milton and Ethel Kimble Hennen. Maxine retired from Westinghouse after several years of service. Prior to that, she worked at Palace Restaurant. She and her husband Milan owned and operated Chick’s Bargain Center.
Maxine enjoyed shopping. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and greatgrandson.
Friends and family will remember Maxine as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and good friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Maxine is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Milan “Chick” Cikovich; her son, Milan “Rocky” Cikovich and his wife Susan of Fairmont; two daughters, Christine Park and companion Abner Moyer of Fairmont and Francine Cikovich of Fairmont; five grandchildren, Tyler Park of Fairmont, Alec Moyer of Fairmont, McKenzie Moyer of Fairmont, Bob Conrad of Fairmont and Shelly Snider and her husband Shane of Lumberport; one great-grandson, Scott Conrad; her brother, Jerry Hennen and his wife Donna of Fairmont; and her sisters, Imogene Muto and her husband Bill of Fairmont, Midge Lucey of Wheeling and Linda Sansone and her husband Chuck of Arizona; aunts, Maude Fordyce of Latrobe, Pa., and Mayetta Scartz and her husband Albert of Florida; and several nieces and nephews, including Joseph Muto and his wife Deborah of Fairmont. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cikovich was was preceded in death by a brother, Nelson Hennen. Interment services will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Fairmont.
