KINSTON - Mrs. Estelle Anderson Hawkins, 80, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2010.
The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Grifton.

Mrs. Hawkins, a native of Craven County, had spent the last 16 years in Kinston, NC, where she was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Matilda A. "Till" Clark, and son, Wilbert Ray Manning Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Paul F. Hawkins of Kinston; sons, William Matthew Manning and wife, Sandra, of Winterville, and Tony Lee Manning and wife, Lisa, of Vanceboro; daughter, Gail J. Evans and husband, Kenneth, of Goldsboro, NC; son-in-law, Jasper "Jack" Clark of Grimesland; sister-in-law, Georgie Hawkins Amyette of Kinston; stepson, Dr. Jan Fletcher Hawkins, of Delphi, IN; stepdaughter, Allison Hawkins Brinson, of Richlands, NC; grandchildren, Amanda Shalita, Kimberly Morris, Jackie Bielby, Tabitha Tripp, Jenny Manning, Jo Manning, Brandon Manning, and Brittany Manning; great-grandchildren, Ben Shalita, Adam Shalita, Trey Bielby, Landen Tripp, Allie Tripp, Tyler Tripp, and Bryson Hart; stepgrandchildren, Erika Brinson, John Hawkins, Hannah Hawkins, Caroline Hawkins, and Emma Hawkins; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home. At other times, the family will be at her home in Kinston.
