Mrs. Alma Allison, mother of Mrs. Donald Malven of this city, died at her home at Charles City Saturday evening, October 31, 1936. She suffered a severe attack of intestinal influenza several months ago, and never fully recovered. On Saturday evening she suffered a heart attack and passed away.
Brief funeral services were held at Charles City this (Tuesday) morning, and the remains were then brought to Lamont, the home of the family for many years, and services were held in the Baptist church there this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial is being made in the Campton cemetery near Dundee.
Mrs. Allison is survived by her husband, Albert Allison, of Charles City; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Malven of this city and Mrs. Harold Marsh of Charles City, and two sons, Raymond and Leland Allison, of Charles City; four grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Ben Kotek of Lamont, and her mother, Mrs. Kate Pierce, also of Lamont. Her father died in 1925. Two children also died in infancy.
Mrs. Malven has the earnest sympathy of many friends in the sorrow that has come to her so suddenly and unexpectedly.
