Noble was the son of Simon and Rachel (Rogers) Syfert. He married Miss Eva Jones on December 22, 1939 in St. Louis. He was preceded in death by daughter, Donna Wood. Mr. Syfert was a graduate of Herrick High School. He owned an interior decorating and painting business and was a toolmaker at Mueller's. He was a member of the Farm Bureau, Shelby County Sheriff's Association, Herrick Baptist Church, Blue Lodge Masons, 32nd Degree Consistory, and Ansar Shrine. He was past president of Shelby County Shrine Club, past master of Clover Leaf Lodge 990, past master of Joppa Lodge 706 and an honorary member of 14 additional lodges in the surrounding area. In other branches of the Blue Lodge, he was a member of the Sword of Bunker Hill, Hillbilly Degree, Grandmother's Degree, Three Roses Degree of Kentucky and was an honorary Kentucky Colonel. Survivors: wife, Eva; a granddaughter; three great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and sister, Jessie Landers of Herrick.
