"William Webb [sic] and Wife Die Three Days Apart
William H. Ebb died Saturday and his wife passed away on Tuesday.
William H. Ebb, aged 80, died following a long illness, on Sept. 9. For some time past he had made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Hurbert [sic Hubert] Ladd at Bridgeport. He is survived by his wife, Lillian M. Ebb; three daughters, Mrs. Hubert Ladd, Mrs. Ernest Bitz of Minoa, and Florence Ebb of Clarksville, Tenn.; three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Frey of Clifton, Colo., Mrs. Elizabeth Smith of Syracuse and Mrs. John Maxwell of Minoa; two brothers, Joseph E. and Conrad Ebb of Minoa; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. William Ebb was a faithful husband and father and had many neighbors and friends in this locality who regret his passing.
Lillian E. Ebb, widow of William Ebb, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert H. Ladd on the Lakeport Road, Sept. 12 at 4 p.m. The funeral of the husband, originally set for Tuesday, was postponed and a double service was held from the Ladd home Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Baden P. Mudge and Rev. Frank A. Boyd of Minoa officiating. Burial was made in Bridgeport cemetery."
Note, in addition to her three daughters, Lillian was survived by a brother, Arther Fonda, of Syracuse.
