Bradley Trunnell, great-grandson of Phillip and Margaret Grable visited Bullitt County about 1900 and talked to his aunt, Mary Grable McDowell. She said that her mother, Margaret Grable had given birth to 10 children. This could account for the 4 unknown children, J & D and J.O & D.O., possibly 2 sets of twins. This assumption is pure conjecture at this point!

The Grable Cemetery is located on the South side of Crooked Creek Road, in Knob State Forest which is located in the Southern part of Bullitt County, Kentucky. It is on private property behind a locked gate. There is another way to access the cemetery, crossing a creek and a field and then climbing up a steep creek bank. The cemetery is covered with vinca and some of the gravestones have been broken by cattle. It is now fenced to keep the cattle out.
