The death of Mrs. Gertude A. McNair occured Tuesday morning in the Hatcher hospital at Wellington, Kansas, she was living with her daughter Betty Carter. Her home was on Route 3, Augusta, Kansas.
Mrs. McNair was born Dec. 2, 1900 in Newton, Harvey Co., Kansas. She moved to the Augusta, Kansas community in 1948 from Wellington, Kansas.
Survivors include her husband, Homer McNair; two daughters, Mrs. Dale E. (Betty Jane) Carter of Wellington and Mrs. Richard D. (Dorothy) Funk of San Angelo, Texas; two brother, Fred Fagan and Joseph Fagan of Newton, Kansas and two grandchildren, Stephen and Charles.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock from the St. Anthony's Catholic church in Wellington, Kansas. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at the St. Mary's cemetery in Newton, Kansas.
