Margie Banks
Margie Banks went to be with the Lord on Oct. 15, 2004. She was born March 30, 1930 to Robert and Ada Taylor.
Margie resided in the Kellyville area most of her life. She married Bill Banks on Nov. 6, 1950.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers Troy, Melvin, Thornton and Bob and two sisters Juanita Smith and Julie Willing.
She is survived by her son Billy Banks and his wife Sharon, of Kellyville; her daughter Sharon Richison and her husband Bob, of Kellyville; three grandsons Travis Banks and his wife April, of Sand Springs, Jason Banks and his wife Monica, of Kellyville, and Justin Richison and his wife Jennifer, of Kellyville; one granddaughter Jennifer Rupert and her husband Seth, of Sapulpa; two brothers Marvin Taylor and his wife Edith, Butch Taylor and his wife Zeke; and eight great-grandchildren Benjamin and Brianna Richison, Madalynn and Hunter Banks, Danielle and Austin Banks, and Tyler and Trevor Rupert and numerous nieces and nephews.
She attended the Kellyville Holiness Church where she gave many hours to working at the sale barn in years past and coordinating many church dinners. She was loved and known as "Mamaw" to many in the church.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother, a fun and caring grandmother and was very proud of her great-grandchildren. She will be missed by us all.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, 2004 at the Kellyville Holiness Church. Burial will be at Sunrise Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
