I don't have positive proof yet, but I believe that Texie is the first wife of William Greenwood Langston. I found a 1880 census on Ancestry that listed:
William Lankston 22
Texas A. Lankston 25
Vigor Lankston 2
Joel Lankston 7m
The spelling is wrong but that happens often in the census before 1900.
I think Vigor is Vivian who was born in 1878. I have no record of a Joel born to William, but if he died before the 1890 census there may be no record of him now.
The Langston Cemetery is in very bad condition and I believe that some of the markers are missing. I'm sure there were more than 38 graves there. I know that in the early 1960s when my dad and uncle bought the farm several of the markers were down. They put them back up as best they could.
