Labors Ended

Miss Emma Nettlebeck passed away on Monday afternoon at the home of her sister Mrs. Charles Schulz in this this city.

The deceased had been a sufferer of cancer, but the direct cause of her death was attributed to pneumonia.

Hers is the third death in the Nettlebeck family in the past few months, her mother having died here about the middle of November and her brother having died in Monte Vista only a few weeks ago.

Miss Emma lost heart when the mother, who was her hope and care, passed away. She is spoken of as having many good traits of character by those for whom she had been employed here from time to time. Although her lot was heavy to bear she was always cheerful, and she has many friends here who will always have a kindly remembrance for her.

The funeral was held from the Schulz home at 10 a.m. Wednesday and the remains were laid to rest beside the grave of the mother in the Ula Cemetery.
