Margaret was a daughter of Edward and Margaret O'Neil Fennell who were both born in Borris, Ireland about 1853.

Margaret was married to Clyde S. Alcorn (my paternal great-uncle) in St. Joseph, Berrien, Michigan on Aug. 4, 1914. They lived in various places in the U.S. (including IL and MO) before settling in Los Angeles, CA. They had no children and after Clyde's death in 1939, Margaret continued living in Los Angeles for 35 years until her death. She never remarried, so I assume Clyde was the love of her life and she never wanted to replace him with another.

Margaret's sister, Elizabeth S. Fennell died 2 years before she did and they are both buried at the same cemetery, Holy Cross in Culver City, CA. Since Margaret was widowed in 1939 and never remarried, I am assuming she and her sister lived together in Los Angeles until their deaths.

Even though her tombstone shows her birth date as 1892 and her middle initial as "H", her death certificate states she was born in 1893 and her middle initial was "M". It also states she had worked at Bullock's Tea Room in Pasadena, CA for over 12 years and died of cardiac arrest at the age of 81.
