Judy Lee Byington Arnold, 68 of Mt Carmel, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Holston Valley Medical Center.
Born in Kingsport, Judy had lived most of her life in Mt Carmel and was a member of Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed going to church, teaching young people and was involved in the Women's Association of the church. She also enjoyed doing all kinds of crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Mildred Arnold Byington.
Judy is survived by her loving husband, Garry L. Arnold of the home; two special cousins, Janice Davis and husband Claude and Peggy Reed and husband Jack all of Mt Carmel.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 1115 Hwy 11W, Church Hill, TN.
A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Hambrick officiating. Music will be provided by Nancy Wolfe.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Mt Carmel, TN. Pallbearers will be Claude Davis, Jack Reed, Jim Dean, Jim Byington, Jason Dorton, Omer Byington and Keith Marsh. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Anderson, Raymond Byington and Tim Blizzard. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:55 a.m.
