Services were held July 17 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Keyport, for Alfred J. Kane, 73, of Ciiffwood, Aberdeen Township, who died July 14 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.
He worked for Central Railroad of New Jersey, Jersey City, for many years, retiring in 1972. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and a communicant of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church.
Mr. Kane was born in Jersey City and lived in Ciiffwood the past 23 years.
Surviving are four nephews, Edward Knoeller, Arthur Knoeller, Thomas Candiloro and Charles Candiloro, and two nieces, Joan Stroyny, and Lucy Hancock.
Waitt Funeral Home, Morganville, was in charge of arrangements.
