William M. Hurley of Quincy passed away Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at age 83. Raised and educated in Quincy where he lived most of his life, he also lived in Weymouth for several years. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II and Korea, William worked as a tire repairman for the Quincy DPW and was a member of VFW Post 613 and the Braintree Chapter DAV. The loving husband of the late Eileen T. (Guest) Hurley; he is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, Sept. 5 from 9 to 11 a.m., immediately followed by a funeral service at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm St., Quincy Center.
