BELLINGER, Helene I. - Of Clio, age 81, died Monday, January 31, 2005 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1PM Thursday, February 3, 2005 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Rev. Roger Gedcke officiating with burial in West Vienna Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-9PM, Wednesday from 12-4 and 6-9PM. Memorial Service at 7PM and Thursday from 12 noon until time of service by the Vienna Chapter O.E.S. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leader Dogs for the Blind. Helene was born November 17, 1923 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late Daniel and Beatrice (Hodgins) Mac Dougall. She had resided in the Clio area all of her life. Helene married Dennis Bellinger on April 12, 1945. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. Helene was a member of the Junior and Senior Womens Club, past Matron of the OES and a member of the Cass River Lioness Club. She loved to knit and was an avid bird watcher. Surviving are: husband, Dennis; children, Denis "Mitch" (Paula) Bellinger of TN, Denise (Maurice) Jabboury of Troy; 4 grandchildren, Sean, Douglas, Elizabeth and Katherine; sisters, Dorothy (Richard) Taylor of TX, Margaret Conley of Clio; brother, Douglas (Carol) Mac Dougall of Millington; sisters-in-law, Judy Mac Dougall of Clio and Rose Bellinger of Lake; many nieces and nephews. Helene was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Donald Mac Dougall and Harold and wife Trudy Mac Dougall.
