MRS. ERNST BASTIAN IS CALLED BY DEATH
Mrs. Ernst Bastian, nee Ida Zick, 66, died suddenly Wednesday morning at her home of a heart attack. The deceased was born in Brillion on June 5, 1876, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Zick. Following her marriage in 1899, to Ernst Bastian, they took up residence on a farm in this vicinity, where they lived until their retirement to the village 6 years ago.
Survivors are the husband, three sons, Arnold and Lawrence of Brillion and Edward, Loomis, Wis.; four daughters, Mrs. Elmer Schnell, Green Bay, Mrs. Nelson Wolfmeyer, and Mrs. Donald O'Connor, Milwaukee and Mrs. Walter Schnell, Loomis; three brothers, William Zick, Chicago, Ben and Edward Zick, Brillion; eight sisters, Mrs. Phillip Schilling, Kiel, Mrs. Walter Huebner, Crivitz, Mrs. Amelia Weise, Kewaunee, Mrs. John Felton, Neenah, Mrs. Gustave Huebner, Forest Junction, Miss Mary Zick, Appleton, Mr. H. L. Bastian, and Mrs. Wm. Keuer, Brillion; fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 at the Luecker Funeral home and at two o'clock at the M.E. church, Brillion, the Rev. Robert Gross officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial cemetery, Appleton.
