After a brief illness she has completed her journey home.
Mrs Dean was the daughter of Rose Haines & Salathiel Wheeler. On 3 Jul 1929 she married Ted Goossens in Las Vegas, NV. To this union 4 daughters were born. They divorce in 1949. On 15 Apr 1950 she married Chuck Dean, they had 1 daughter.
Preceding her were her parents, husbands, grandson Wayne Wiseman, son-in-law Rex Eastman, plus siblings Luara Burke, Elmaer Wheeler, Ruth Goossens, & Vivain Longmore.
Survivors include daughters: Mrs. Mary Eastman Port Angeles WA, Mrs. JoAnne (John) Wiseman Steator IL, Mrs. Bee (Lee) Beeson Gramby MO, & Ms. Viola Goossens, St Louis MO,& Charlene (Ernie) Quitiquit, WA; grandkids: Jeffrey, Jackie, Pamela, Christy, Gilbert, Dorlena, Vicky, Harold, Lindy, Vickie, Jonella, Keith, Cynthia, Tammy, & Isaac; 2 nieces & 2 nephews; plus several great-grandkids.
Mrs Dean grew up in southern CA moving in 1974 to Owasso OK living w/her daughter Bee & her family. She then moved to Long Point IL living w/her daughter Jody & her family in 1976, where she lived for 12 years. She then moved to Port Angeles WA living w/her daughter Mary.
Throughout her life she worked hard to provide for her family. Some of her favorite pastimes were cooking, sewing, knitting, women's roller derby - knew all the teams & everyone on them!, Lawrence Welk (never missing a show), playing card games - mainly canasta & pinochle. Mostly she was a simple woman who loved life, her friends & being w/her family.
During her illness she received the love & support of her family.
