Mr. Amsden was the architect of the Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church of Wooster OH which was dedicated on 24 Jan 1875 at the cost of $9000. Now the Wooster United Methodist Church. He was an OFFICER OF THE TOWN OF WOOSTER in 1864 as Trustee. He also had a US Patent for a sash fastener on 21 Jan 1868. He was married to Lucy Amelia Wood on 5 Jan 1841 at Malone, Franklin, NY where they both were born. From this union they had a daughter, Lucy Amelia.
