Dorisann moved to Tampa when she was 10 years old and that is where she lived for the remainder of her life. She was employed at Helping Hand Day Care Nursery until her passing. She was preceded in death by parents Clarence and Pearl Jackson; sister, Virgie Alexander; niece, Tammie Jackson; nephew, Cleveland Jackson, Jr., and grandmother, Louise Hobson. She leaves to mourn her passing three daughters: Crystal Alexander, Tomay Alexander, Danielle Alexander, and an adopted son, Antonio Tucker; former spouse, David Alexander; three sisters: Marianne Walker (Walt) of Tampa, Deanna Jackson of New York, Bernadette Baker of Tampa; three brothers: Cleveland Jackson, Jr. (Nezzie) of New York, Ray Jackson of New York, and James Williams of Winter Haven, FL; adopted sister, Paulette Williams; grandchildren Jakareon, D'nae, Imani; Godmother, Marilyn Short, Godsister, Dr. Theresa Lewis; and spiritual mother, Janice Nunn-Nelson. She also left behind a host of stepdaughters, stepsons, nieces, nephews, and a host of Godchildren and many, many friends. Dorisann was a well-known, loving person. Whenever she first came in contact with someone she touched them with her loving, kind-heart, and always tried to help anyone she could. She was known for her hard, nonstop work ability. She has now left us and gone to Heaven to be with the Lord. Her Godly spirit helped many, young and old. She will be truly, truly missed.
