Carl Henry Amburn, born September 10, 1935, went home to be with our Lord on August 30, 2012 in Springfield, Missouri.
Carl is preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Gaynell Amburn.
He is survived by children, Maurice of Tampa, Florida, Terry of St. Louis, Missouri, Gloria of Columbus, Ohio, Glen of Dawsonville, Georgia, Lee of Raymondville, Missouri, Tammy of Charleston, South Carolina, and Carl Jr. of Raymondville, Missouri.
Carl was a great father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend.
Carl was a very outspoken man. If he had something to say, he said it just the way he saw it.
Pallbearers wee Maurice Amburn, Terry Amburn, Glen Amburn, Lee Johnson, Carl Amburn, Jr. and Levi Johnson.
Service was held Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at ll a.m. at the Fox Chapel, with Pastor Joshua Hartley officiating. Interment was in Boone Creek Cemetery.
