Kelie Irene Beamer, age 41, died on Thursday, Aug. 23 at home in McMinnville. Kelie was born in Covina, California on August 2, 1971 to Roy and Margaret Beamer. She moved with her parents to Mt. Vernon when she was 2 years old. Kelie graduated from Mt. Vernon High School, where she was active in track and volleyball. She was also an accomplished swimmer and lifeguard. After high school she moved to Alaska where she attended college.
Kelie returned to Mt. Vernon, and later married Aaron John in Springfield in 1995. They later separated. Their relationship produced two children, Tyler Hudson John, 16, of McMinnville, and Devin Aaron Beamer, 18, of Pleasant Hill.
Kelie worked in the medical field and in the service sector.
Kelie is survived by her two sons, her life partner, Joe Medeiros, her sister, DeAnn Beamer of Santa Clara, and her brothers Charles Givens, and Jesse Davis. A sister, Karen Boone, predeceased her. Kelie also had three stepbrothers, Raymond, Jimmy, and Robert Beamer.
Kelie's greatest love was for her two boys and would do anything to assure their care and safety. She will be greatly missed.
