Graveside services will be at 10:30 am. Thursday in Restlawn Memorial Park for Richard B. Balser, 21, Ojai, Calif., who died in California Sept. 26 of cancer.
Funeral service was conducted at Clausen Funeral Home, Ojai, Calif.
Born Dec 13, 1949 in Spokane, Wash., Mr. Balser was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints. He was an elder in that church at the time of his death. He attended schools in California.
He is survived by his father, Robert L. Balser, Rathdrum: his mother, Mrs. David Vreeland [Donna Higbee], Oakview, Calif.; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Chet Balser, Hayden Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Coleman, Coeur d' Alene; four brothers, Robert, Donald, Jon and Michael Balser; and four sisters, Melody, Melinda, Marna and Danielle.
Memorial gifts may be presented to the Cancer Society or to the Blind Association. Local funeral arrangements were made at Yates Funeral Home.
