Technical Sergeant William James Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Adams of Buffalo, Oklahoma, died in Belgium as a result of injuries when his plane crashed. He was a turret gunner on a B-17. He was born in Buffalo and he graduated from high school there. He was inducted in April 1942 and went overseas in August 1944. He had participated in 30 missions and had been awarded the Air Medal with several Oak Leaf Clusters. (bio contributed by Don J.)
