"Services Are Held For Escalon Man
ESCALON, Jan. 7. Funeral services for Richard Lincoln Beeson were conducted Tuesday afternoon in the Fry & Son Chapel in Manteca for [sic] Dr. D. T. Robertson, pastor of the local Presbyterian Church officiating. Mrs. Harold Whitlock sang and interment was in the Burwood Cemetery [in Escalon]. Pallbearers were: C. H. Oliver, Jack Reisenbeck, Harry Carlson, Frank Stoehr, R. W. Nottingham and Steve Mineni.
He leaves a widow, Mrs. Sophia Beeson of Escalon and three nieces and a nephew in Modesto. He had made Escalon his home for the past ten years." END
