Catherine Dixson was born to the union of Amanda and Bufford Tucker on September 1, 1932 in Paris, Arkansas. In 1958 she moved with her family to Wichita, Ks.
She was employed with Cessna and Raytheon Aircraft.
She retired from Raytheon Aircraft. She married Everett Dixson on February 17, 1973.
Together they raised 11 children.
Catherine and Everett shared 37 beautiful and blessed years together.
They were faithful members of St. Mark's United Methodist Church for over 20 years. Proceeding her in death mother Amanda Tucker-Wright and father Bufford Tucker; son Donny Washington, and sisters Corena Tucker, Ella Jean Williams, Christine Ingram; brothers Chris Tucker, Robert Tucker, Roger Tucker, Arzo Tucker and Alonzo Tucker.
Catherine Dixson left this earthly home on August 27, 2011.
She leaves to cherish her memories sisters Verbena Davenport, Betty Wilson, Joyce Walker and Matilda Madden all of Wichita, Ks; brothers James Bufford Tucker (Wichita, Ks) and Wade Tucker (Houston,Tx); daughters Kelly Tucker, Nellie Woods, Deberah Ann Slades, Margaret Peach (Chris), Shirley Lowe, Beverly Bell (Morris), Geald "Jewel" Hall, Kathy Williams(Stephen), Marsha Givens (Earl); son Willie Washington and a host of grandchildren, family and friends.
