On August 25, 2012, Katerina "Kat Gorkavchuk, 27, of Medina, Ohio, was surrounded by her family when she went home to be with the Lord after a long journey with cancer.
She was born in Lviv, Ukraine, on February 5, 1985. She came over to America at the age of five with her family, and graduated from Highland High School in '02 and was also a proud alumnus from The Ohio State University. She was in love with life and adored her family, Audrey Hepburn, Maine, cheese, collecting passport stamps, Jesus, Tiffany & Co., her dogs, and friends, not necessarily in that order. She was a proud member of Grace Church. Her legacy will be carried on by her parents, Sergey and Olga Gorkavchuk, and her only brother, Anton Gorkavchuk.
