Daughter of Jacob Pinckney and Teresa Caroline Hammond Reed. Julia married John Peter Brown on January 10, 1860.

Mrs. Julia S. Brown, second daughter of the late Judge J. P. Reed, and wife of the late John P. Brown, died at the residence of her mother, in this city, on Saturday night, 13th instant. - Anderson Intelligencer
