Ms. Gateau was a secretary/administrative assistant with the
United States Government for 25 years, mainly working with the
Census Bureau and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in
Waldorf, MD. She loved bowling, cooking, shopping, tending to her
beautiful flower garden and was an avid animal lover/advocate.
Her entire life was devoted to her family and she especially
enjoyed spoiling her three "precious" grandchildren and beloved
poodles.

Predeceased by her parents; and one late brother Joseph Milstead
Survived by two daughters, Linda M. (Matthew) Weese of
Woodbridge, VA and Brenda L. (Jerry) Dalsey of Waldorf, MD; one
brother, Joseph C. Anderson of Chesapeake Beach, MD; and three
grandchildren, Katie, Gerard, and Maura Dalsey.
