AGED OSGOOD WOMAN DIES
Mrs. Lydia Ralls, Born in 1845, Came to Missouri as a Child.
Mrs. Lydia Ralls, widow of G. B. Ralls, died at o'clock this morning at the home of her son, A. F. Ralls, in Osgood. She had been in failing health for a number of years and had been bedfast for almost two years. She was 90 years old.
Mrs Ralls was born in Laurel County, Kentucky, Sept. 2, 1845, coming to Missouri when a child. She was married to G. B. Ralls of the community of Osgood in 1869. They went to housekeeping on a farm near Osgood and later Mr. Ralls bought a farm one mile northwest of Osgood where they continued to live more than 58 years.
After the death of Mr. Ralls a number of years ago, Mrs. Ralls and a son, A. F. Ralls continued to live there. She has made her home with her son most of the time, it was said. She was a member of the Free Methodist church.
The survivors include five sons, G. W. Ralls of Laverne, Okla., A. F. Ralls of Osgood, R. B. Ralls of Seattle, Wash., J. E. Ralls of Oklahoma City, Okla., and I. O. Ralls of Osgood; one daughter, Mrs. D. L. Jewitt of Sedro Woolley, Wash.; one brother Frank Jackson of South Missouri, and one sister, Mrs. Eliza Smith of Osgood. She also leaves 29 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Sunday morning at the Christian church in Osgood, conducted by the Rev. Charles Wickham, pastor of the Free Methodist church there. Burial will be at the Maxey cemetery two miles north of Osgood beside her husband and three children who preceded her in death.
