Sharon Gayle Bryant Wheeler Mrs. Sharon Gayle Bryant Wheeler, a resident of Somerville and native Fayette Countian, died Sunday, January 9, 2005 at her residence on Jernigan Drive. She was 40 years of age and died unexpectedly. Funeral services were conducted at 1 P.M. Wednesday, January 12th at the Peebles Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Daniel Green, minister of the Ellendale Church of Christ, officiating. Interment was in the Middleburg Community of Hardeman County. Peebles Fayette County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Wheeler was born February 22, 1964, in Somerville, the daughter of Randall Bryant and the former Margaret Moody. She was educated in the public schools of Fayette County and was formerly employed as a cashier by the Kroger Company in Oakland. Mrs. Wheeler was of the Baptist faith and was a lifelong resident of the Somerville and Fayette County areas. She enjoyed life and enjoyed activities that included the fellowship of her family members. Mrs. Wheeler is survived by her daughter, Karen Ferrell of Oakland; two sons, Adam Wheeler of Atoka, Tennessee, Shane Holden of Somerville; her father, Randall Bryant of Middleton; her mother, Margaret Rogers of Oakland; her sister, Gina Lowe of Oakland; her brother, James Rogers of Cordova, Tennessee; her paternal grandmother, Helen Bryant of Bolivar, Tennessee and two grandsons, Daniel Mashburn and Kaleb Ferrell. Casketbearers were Jody Ferrell, Phillip Lowe, James Rogers and Larry Wheeler, Carey Rogers and Bruce Rogers. The family request that memorials be directed to St. Jude children's research Hospital, 332 North Lauderdale Memphis, TN 38106.
