Obituary
Jim H. Austin Jr., age 59, of 13148 Highway 39, died Thursday, April 3, 2003, at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.
He was born in Greenwood County, and was a son of the late Jim Hugh Austin Sr. and Lucy Goggans Austin.

He was a graduate of Clemson University, was an elder in the Presbyterian Church, was owner of Old House Gallery in Greenwood and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Clinton.
Surviving are his wife, Katheryn S. Austin, of the home; two sons, Jim H. (Trey) Austin III and William Reid Austin, both of Columbia; one daughter and son-in-law, Kristin A. and Patrick Smith, of Florence; one sister, Mackie A. Barnes, of Laurens; and two grandsons, Ben and Pat Smith.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Clinton, with burial at Liberty Springs Church Cemetery in Cross Hill.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 410 E. Carolina Ave., Clinton, SC 29325. - Gray Funeral Home, Clinton.
