Joshua Creeden, 428 W. Fulton St., Celina, Ohio, enlisted into the U.S. Army on May 16, 1918, Ornance Dept., Reserve Officer's Training Corps, Raritan Arsenel, N.J. He had an honorable discharge on February 17, 1919. He was 5'11" tall, 195 lb., had blue eyes and light complexion.

After Peck married Audria King, he was a deputy sheriff in Mercer Co., Ohio, for a short time and was let go. His father-in-law, Frank King, bought him a building on Fayette St., Celina, where he had an auto repair shop. Between 1925 and 1930, he left his family and headed for Detroit, MI. In 1942, he was employed by Fisher Body, Pontiac, MI. Peck married Lucille L. Fabish on February 3, 1940 in Steuben Co., IN.
