Regina E. (Thurman) Smith, age 54, went home to be with Christ, October 4, 2003 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital. Predeceased by parents Clarence and Charlotte Thurman, two nephews and a brother-in-law. Survived by husband, George M. Smith; children, Jason (Tara) Smith; grandchildren, Jamal Smith and Kiki Walker; sister, Ann (Sylvester) Fleming; brothers, Leverne (Jackie) Thurman and Albert (Margaret) Thurman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends. Funeral service Friday 11 a.m. at the Rhema Christian Center, 2100 Agler Rd. The family will receive friends at the church Friday 10 a.m. until the start of funeral service. Interment Union Cemetery.
