Former East Jordan resident Glenn E. Persons, 56, died Sept. 16, 1988, at Grant Medical Center, Pickerington, Ohio.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 20, at the Spence Funeral Home, Pickerington. The Rev. Thomas L. McLaughlin will officiate and burial will be in Glen Rest Memorial Estates, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
Mr. PErsons was born April 25, 1932, In East Jordan. He attended East Jordan schools and graduated from East Jordan High School.
He had resided in Pickerington for 14 years.
Mr. Persons had been a customer service manager for J.C. Penney stores for 23 years.
Survivors include: his wife, the former Myrtie Lou Blaha; two sons, Kevin Glenn Persons of Allen, texas and Gregory Lee Persons of Tucscon, Ariz.; two daughters, Debra Lynn Reid of East Jordan and Teresa Jo Kemp of Columbus, Ohio; three granddaughters; three grandsons; two brothers, Jim of Florida and Sam of Grand Rapids.
