Death Notices - Gates
Mrs. Emma Grubaugh, widow of B. F. Gates, died Friday evening at the home of her sister, Rebecca Grubaugh, 392 W. Fourth Street, after a brief illness. Mrs. Gates, the daughter of James and Rebecca Grubaugh, pioneer resident of Richland County, was born in Mansfield and spent most of her life in this city. She was a member of the South Main Street Evangelical Church. Surviving are two sons, Arthur C. and Francis M., a brother, William Grubaugh, and a sister, Miss Rebecca Grubaugh and two grandchildren, all of Mansfield. Services will be held at the home of her sister, 392 W. Fourth St., Monday at 3:15 pm. in charge Rev. Leroy Deininger and Rev. E. C. Corwin. Burial in Mansfield cemetery.
