Lester Boyles moved to Baylor County in 1914 settling in the Plainview community until 1928.
Lester Boyles married Miss Myrtle Preslar on 11 November 1928. The couple moved to Seymour that year and he began working for Culver Grocery. In 1935, the couple located at Wichita Falls, Archer City and Burkburnett before moving back to Seymour. He was engaged as head of the meat department of the Spot Cash Grocery and the Roy Richeson Grocery. In 1954, the couple moved back to Archer City where he worked for C.H. King Grocery until his death.
Lester Boyles was converted at the age of 11 and united with the Baptist Church. Services were held at the First Baptist Church in Seymour with Rev. Kelley pastor, offiicating assisted by J.D. Rothwell, minister of the Seymour Church of Christ.
Survived by his wife; one brother - Claudie Boyles; six sisters - Mrs. Edna Hamilton, Mrs. Gladys Morton, Mrs. Georgie Keck, Mrs. Flemye Cockrell, Mrs. Fay Lunday, Mrs. Mabel Franklin.
