Funeral services for Frances Louise Ramey, 60, of Crossville, who passed away Feb. 5, 2000, were held Feb. 8 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
The Revs. Robert Lawrence and Scott White officiated, with special music by Walt and Amy Reed.
She was born May 12, 1939 in Knox County, TN, the daughter of Ora and Alma Hutchins England.
Mrs. Ramey was a nurse technician and she was a member of Isoline Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James T. "Pete" Ramey of Crossville; sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Kathy Johnson, Buddy and Teresa Johnson, and Sonny and Julie Ramey, all of Crossville; daughters and sons-in-law, Evelyn and Mark Steerman, and Tommy and James Goodwin, all of Crossville, and Donna and Dale Short of Detroit, MI; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; mother, Alma England of Crossville; and sisters, Wilma Williams of Gordonsville, TN, Lenora Byer and Faye Ramey, both of Crossville, Carolyn Liggett of Columbia, TN, and Charlotte Brown of Palmyra, IN.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ora England, and sister, Judy Craig.
Pallbearers were Tony Bowman, Gene Johnson Jr., Kenny Keck, Bob Harvel, Bobby Baisley and Damon Allred.
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
