Sveska, William. Born in Raymond, MN on July 3, 1923, Bill passed away June 30, 2008. Not too long after he was born, the family moved to Milan, MI where Bill, as every one called him, grew up. He loved all sports in school, his biggest love was golf. After high school he went to trade school at Ford's but before he could finish he was called to fight for his country in WWII he was a MP in the CBI campaign. He returned home as a sergeant in 1946 and moved to Ann Arbor and went back to trade school and became a tool maker. While in Ann Arbor he met and married Ann Haglund. They lived in Ann Arbor from 1946-1989 when they retired to Sarasota, FL. Ann passed away in 1998. They had three children Craig, Patrice and David, all of whom live in Michigan, and five grandchildren. Dad will be returned to Michigan so he can be put to rest next to his loving wife of 52 years.
