Mrs. Minnie J. Glover, aged 61, wife of John L. Glover of this city died at her home early Monday morning after a short illness of acute heart trouble. She was the daughter of the late William and Lyda Lowe Baldwin, long residents of the Salem neighborhood, where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to John L. Glover in August 1884, 47 years ago, and their lives have been spent in and around Covington. She had been afflicted with heart trouble for the past year but was not fatally attacked until about ten o'clock Sunday night upon retiring after attending church at the ten meetings near her home, death coming at 2:30 Monday morning. To their marriage were born two sons, one dying early in life, and William, now a resident of Washington state and three daughters, Mrs. John Patterson, Mrs. Gerome Lape, and Mrs. Albert Clem of Covington. She is survived by the husband, the above children and two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Taylor and Mrs. Nettie McCannis, a brother, Ed of California and a brother George of Frankfort, Indiana. Funeral services were held from the M. E. church, conducted by Rev. A. L. Brandenburg at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, interment directed by Crumley & Son following at Rockfield south east of Veedersburg.
